Top Tips |
|
Throughout the run-up to the expedition, the leaders and sharing ‘Top Tips’ with the expeditioners. Here are some: |

Ensure your footwear fits well. Blisters can ruin your expedition. |

· |
Suntan lotion is not an option, it’s compulsory! Our skin is not used to the extreme strength of the sun in Africa & it will burn quickly |

Make sure you know how to use your camera. |
|
· |
Don’t take too much kit with you, as you will be the individual carrying the kit. |
|
· |
Don’t tie any kit to the outside of your rucksack when traveling (particularly through airports). The items probably won’t be there when you pick up your luggage at the other end. |

Read all the information that is sent to you, then read it again, and finally read it a third time before asking a questions. Most answers can be easily found in the information. |

· |
Remember, even through we will be getting up early each morning, not everyone is a morning person! |
