In August 2005, a once in a lifetime opportunity of a three week expedition to Namibia has been made available to Explorer Scouts (who are 16 or over on 1st Aug 2005), Scout Network and Leaders in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Phoenix is about experience, through community and conservation projects, a culture unlike our own. Projects will promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.

Community and conservation work can be hard and dirty, but extremely satisfying. With conservation work situated in the heart of National Parks, seeing natural game at very close quarters is second to none.

Expeditions are life-changing experiences. Faced with new challenges in new environments, people discover new skills and resources - including tenacity and adaptability, creativity, initiative and problem solving, team building and self-confidence.

Late news new remote quiz cash prize. One week left until it closes on Friday 25th March 2005. Click here or go to fundraising..
